Project Description
‘Vertical Adventure Park, Jeur’ is a adventure sport project started by Jeur Joint Forest Management Committee. The aim of the project is, to uplift the Kolhapur as a tourist place and making Panhala as a tourist destination by creating amazing adventure sports park and creating job opportunities for locals.
The adventure park is situated adjoining to Masai Devi Plateu (Pathar). Panhala is a taluka place situated in the northern part of Kolhapur district on the Kolhapur- Ratnagiri road on Sahyadri Mountain range at 2772 meter height. It is naturally famous for it’s historical importance in the life history of Shivaji Maharaj. Besides, it is visited by many locals as hill station. To give a new flavor of adventure to the blooming tourism in the area the ‘Vertical Adventure Park’ project has been started in the area. The surrounded area is full of bio-diversity and climate is very refreshing throughout the year.
This makes ‘Vertical Adventure Park, Jeur’ a brand new must visit place.
This amazing adventure sports park is not only for those who are always looking to enjoy life out of the frame and crazy to do something new every time but, also for every family member. People can stay at lodges or home stays and enjoy another day in Panhala.
Vertical Adventures- Jeur is initially created across 2 hectors land area which covers Jeur and Masai Plateau. The park has initially set up of 10 adventure sports like Climbing, Rappelling, High Rope Ride, Slack line, Reverse Bungee, Zorbing, Paragliding, Parasailing, etc.
The sports activities has been developed on the natural ups and downs of the mountain which gives very natural feel of thrilling activities.
