Arihant Group, led by the late Sahakar Ratna Shri Raosaheb Patil and his sons, Shri Abhinandan and Shri Uttam Patil, has a long-standing presence in sectors such as cooperative societies, education, farming, entrepreneurship, textiles, and sugar industries. Dr. Mahaadev D. Dixit, one of India’s most esteemed cardiac surgeons, brings over 33 years of experience in open heart surgeries to Arihant Hospital. With more than 35,000 open heart surgeries, including over 10,000 paediatric cases, he specializes in complex procedures such as Arterial Switch Operations, Pulmonary Conduits, Fontan, and Sennings Procedures. He is among the few surgeons capable of performing the full spectrum of cardiac surgeries, from neonatal operations to transplants, including minimal access surgeries. Notably, he successfully performed neonatal cardiac surgery on a baby weighing just 900 grams.
Dr. Dixit is a life member of the Society of Paediatric Surgeons (USA) and the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons. He also serves as a Trustee at the Asia Heart Foundation and the Chairman of Priyadarshini Eye Healthcare and Research Foundation, Belagavi.
