Sahyadri Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd., Indumatinagar, Dhamod, Tal. Radhanagari, Dist. Kolhapur is registered under Maharashtra State Co-Op. Society Act, 1960 in the year 1994, under the leadership of Late Shri. Annasaheb Navane. Late Shri. Navane selected unique location for the factory in Dhamod which is rich in quality sugarcane. The area of operation of the factory consists of 32 villages lies in command area of perennially flowing Rivers namely Tulashi, Bhogawati and Dhamani. Area of operation of sugar factory receives heavy rainfall in monsoon. Radhanagari & Tulashi dams are in the area of operation which are of 15 km & 5 km away from the sugar factory respectively.

Ample water available for the farm irrigation has promoted sugarcane cultivation in the major area of agriculture land. So more than 12 lakh MT sugarcane is available in the Radhanagari taluka of the Kolhapur district. Sahyadri has collected member share capital from its 5200 members and Maharashtra state govt. has also contributes in share capital for the establishment2500 TCD (Expandable to 3500 TCD) Sugar factory at Dhamod.
